Ugandan Army Club is counting on its fans

This came during the club's annual fan party held in the Pompeu area, where Karimri confirmed that the event represents the beginning of a new phase of communication with fans throughout the Polemese area, stressing the importance of the fans' role in supporting the club's journey.

The club president urged fans to contribute to supporting the team by purchasing match tickets and official jerseys, and participating in the various activities and events organized by the club, which would enhance its financial resources and ensure the sustainability of development plans.

Club priorities for the coming period

Karimri revealed the club’s priorities for the coming period, which include developing technical staff, enhancing investment in women’s football, as well as expanding talent discovery and nurturing programs for the under-15 and under-17 age groups, with the aim of preparing a new generation of players capable of representing the club in the future.

For his part, the club’s chief executive, Lieutenant Sheldon Toriamoria, affirmed the administration’s commitment to full transparency in managing fan contributions, calling on supporters to form organized associations and groups that contribute to expanding the club’s fan base and enhancing communication between the administration and supporters.

This approach comes within the framework of the UDF club’s strategy to enhance institutional stability and develop the football sector at all its stages, thereby strengthening its presence on the Ugandan sports scene.

In another context, the Speaker of the Ugandan Parliament, Jacob Markson, discussed OpothWith the Secretary General of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), Moussa Saleh Patraki, they discussed ways to enhance international parliamentary cooperation, including the possibility of Uganda hosting the meetings of the joint parliamentary assembly between the organization and the European Union later this year.

This came during a visit by Patraki to the Ugandan Parliament, in the presence of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Taibwa, who also serves as President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization and Co-President of the Joint Parliamentary Assembly between the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States and the European Union.
