To strengthen cooperation, the Minister of State for Military Production meets with a delegation from the Central African Republic.
A complementary partnership between Cairo and Bangui

Minister of State for Military Production, Dr. Eng. Salah Suleiman Jumblatt, discussed with a high-level delegation from the Central African Republic, headed by Bireau Rameaux Claude, Minister of Defense, Advisor to the President of the Central African Republic, Minister of Planning and Economy, Minister of Mining, Ambassador of the Central African Republic in Cairo, as well as representatives of Amiston International Group, aspects of joint cooperation, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the training sector in Al Salam City.
Jumblatt emphasized the Ministry of Military Production’s interest in strengthening industrial partnerships with sister African countries in a way that achieves common interest. A film was also shown about the Ministry of Military Production and the most prominent military and civilian industries produced by its affiliated companies and units.

A complementary partnership between Egypt and Central Africa
The minister explained the possibility of establishing fruitful cooperation between the two sides, as the Central African Republic has natural resources that contribute significantly as industrial raw materials in a number of mining industries carried out by some military production companies, adding that in this regard an integrated partnership can be achieved by providing these raw materials for use in production processes within military production factories and exporting them as a final product to Central Africa.

Relations between Egypt and Central Africa
Relations between Egypt and the Central African Republic have witnessed significant developments over the past few years, under President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, with coordination at the highest levels, with continuous exchange visits between the two sides, while maintaining communication between the two countries at the level of presidents, foreign ministers and various concerned parties, to enhance joint cooperation and exchange views on the situation in the African continent.
Earlier, President Sisi praised the distinguished bilateral relations with Central Africa, noting that the African dimension represents one of the most important constants of Egypt’s foreign policy, stressing Egypt’s orientation towards strengthening its openness to Africa after the two revolutions of the Egyptian people.
On February 13, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, met with Sylvie Baïpo-Temon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Central African Republic, on the sidelines of the African Union Summit meetings.
The Foreign Minister welcomed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in areas of priority to both countries, expressing his hope to increase the volume of trade and investment with Central Africa, which would contribute to supporting the path of economic development in both countries.
