In line with promoting the well-being of girls and young women, Mama Ye, with the support of the Egyptian Embassy in Sierra Leone, organized a successful educational awareness program at Kabala Secondary School for Girls in Kuinadogo District.
The celebration of African Child Day commemorates the courage and sacrifices of the children of Soweto in South Africa, who fought for their right to a quality education in 1976. Their struggle remains a powerful reminder that every African child has the right to education, protection, dignity, and opportunities to thrive.
This event brought together students, teachers and stakeholders to participate in meaningful discussions about issues affecting girls and the future of Africa.

Through interactive sessions, the students learned about the history, culture, health and personal development in Africa, and the importance of becoming responsible leaders in their communities.
