Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister Foreign Ministry The Ministry of International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad held a promotional event for the Hafez platform, a financial and technical support initiative for the private sector. This platform is one of the implementation tools for innovative private sector financing, connecting the private sector with international development and financing partners. This initiative aligns with the state's strategy to strengthen the private sector's role as a key partner in achieving economic development. The event was attended by representatives from the private sector, business councils, chambers of commerce, and international development partners.

Minister Abdel-Aati emphasized during his speech that the platform incentive It represents one of the executive tools for innovative financing, contributing to supporting Egyptian companies and enhancing their competitiveness. He pointed out that launching the platform’s introductory tours in the governorates is a practical translation of the ministry’s efforts to expand the scope of benefiting from its services at the national level, especially in the Upper Egypt governorates, reflecting the state’s orientation towards achieving comprehensive and balanced development.

The event also witnessed the signing of two letters of intent by the Minister of Foreign Affairs with Chemonics Egypt and Forvis Mazars Consulting, to conduct introductory tours of the platform in the governorates and to enhance cooperation with international consulting firms in the fields of capacity building, consulting, and technical support. The event also included a presentation on the Hafez platform, covering the services it offers and how to benefit from them.

The event also featured an interactive meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the private sector and international development partners. He listened to their views and proposals on developing the business environment and promoting trade and investment, emphasizing the Ministry's commitment to maintaining direct communication with the business community to overcome obstacles and support economic partnerships. Representatives of development partners also presented their vision on various mechanisms to support the private sector and opportunities to maximize the benefits of support programs and initiatives offered by development partners and the government, in line with the needs of the private sector. In this context, Minister Abdel-Aty affirmed the Ministry's continued efforts to strengthen economic diplomacy tools and activate international partnerships in a way that supports national development priorities and contributes to transforming the financing tools and technical expertise offered by development partners into tangible opportunities that support the Egyptian economy and enhance its competitiveness.
