Egypt's ambassador to Angola supports the Egyptian national basketball team's mission.
The ambassador attended the training sessions and checked on the players' readiness.
Ambassador Nevin El-Husseiny, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Angola, met with the Egyptian national basketball team delegation, headed by Captain Tarek Saeed, Vice President of the Basketball Federation, to participate in the African qualifiers for the Basketball World Cup, as part of the embassy's support for Egyptian national teams participating in various sporting events.

The ambassador also made sure to attend the team's final training sessions and check on the players' and coaching staff's readiness before the anticipated match against the Malian national team, scheduled for tomorrow, wishing the Egyptian national team all the best and success in their quest to qualify for the World Cup.

Tarek El-Saeed, Vice President of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, will lead the national team's mission in Angola, while the team will be technically managed by Spaniard Agusti Bosch, who announced the list of players participating in the qualifiers. The list includes: Amr El-Gendy, Asem Marei, Omar Tarek, Anas Osama, Ehab Amin, Mohamed Taha, Bebo Zahran, Adam Moussa, Ismail Massoud, Khaled Abdelnasser, Yassin Sheikho, and Hamad Fathy.
The technical staff
The technical and administrative staff of the national team includes: Agusti Bosch as technical director, Alfred Bosch as coach, Wael Badr as coach, Rami Ginidi as coach, Islam Gomaa as doctor, Ahmed Fayek as fitness coach, Abdelrahman El-Gallad as performance analyst, Ali Moussa as recovery specialist, and Sameh Salah as administrative manager.
The national team concluded its preparations for the qualifiers through an internal camp held at the Dr. Hassan Mustafa Hall, which included a series of strong friendly matches as part of the technical preparation program aimed at best equipping the team before facing the third window of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers.
