Academic cooperation between Chad and Cairo in the field of education

The director of the Senghor University branch receives a delegation from the National School of Administration in Chad

The Director General of the National School of Administration in Chad, Mohamed Bourgo Hassan, paid a working visit to Senghor University In Alexandria, at the head of a delegation from the institution, as part of efforts to develop administrative training and enhance academic partnerships.

During the visit, the director of the Senghor University branches, Olofic Hossou, received the delegation in a working session dedicated to discussing ways to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two institutions.

The discussions addressed a number of strategic topics, including the development of training programs, improving mechanisms for accompanying and qualifying students, as well as discussing measures to support the presence of the Senghor University branch in Chad and enhance its role in serving higher education and specialized training.

Expanding cooperation to improve public administration capabilities in Chad

The two sides also reviewed prospects for expanding academic and scientific cooperation, which would contribute to raising the efficiency of public administration in Chad and the African continent, and enhance the exchange of experiences and knowledge between the two institutions.

In the context of this visit, the National School of Administration delegation is participating in a range of academic activities and events organized at the university’s headquarters in Alexandria, reflecting the strong relationship between the two parties and their shared commitment to supporting academic excellence, capacity building, and human resource development.

In another context, Chad and Burkina Faso are accelerating preparations for the second session of the Joint Committee Between the two countries, in a move that reflects the keenness of both sides to strengthen bilateral cooperation relations and develop its institutional mechanisms.

In this context, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad, Dr. Dangbey Guilingar Evariste, held a meeting on Monday morning with the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Chad, Boukari Zoungrana, to discuss the arrangements underway for the upcoming meeting of the Joint Committee.

According to a statement issued by the Chadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides reviewed the progress made in the preparations and discussed ways to update the draft agreements and texts to be signed during the session, in line with the priorities of joint cooperation and to support partnership paths in various fields.
