The army reveals details of the clashes in Mali.

The statement explained that combing operations are still ongoing in Bamako, Kati and other areas within the country, in order to track down the elements involved and ensure the full restoration of security in the various areas affected by the attacks.

The Malian General Staff praised what it described as the "strong response" of the Malian armed forces, emphasizing that the readiness of the troops and their rapid intervention enabled them to inflict heavy losses on the attackers and thwart their plans. It also commended the courage and discipline of the soldiers who repelled the attacks on various fronts, stating that the achievement reflects a high level of professionalism and commitment.

The statement indicated that assessments are still underway to determine the final tally of losses, both among the attackers and in terms of material damage, as military operations continue.

The military leadership in Mali also appreciated the cooperation of the local population, which, according to the statement, contributed to facilitating the tracking of armed elements, especially in light of the flight that some groups are experiencing after the strikes they received.

In the same context, the army stressed that the situation is now under control, calling on citizens to remain calm and vigilant, and not to circulate or publish unofficial information that could cause concern or serve hostile propaganda.

This statement comes amid escalating security challenges facing the country, as the armed forces seek to establish stability and continue field operations to prevent any potential threats.
