The President of Madagascar, Colonel Michael Randrianireina, will begin a visit to Egypt tomorrow, which is scheduled to last several days.
The visit will include a meeting with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in El Alamein, followed by a press conference about the meeting and its most important outcomes.

Egyptian-Madagascar relations
Relations between Egypt and Madagascar are characterized by strength and deep-rooted historical ties, and are witnessing continuous development in various fields, under continuous coordination within joint African frameworks, and a strategic partnership aimed at promoting development, investment and trade exchange between the two countries.
Egyptian companies and businessmen are working to transfer expertise to Madagascar, and to contribute to the implementation of projects in the fields of energy, roads, ports, and the establishment of new cities.
The cooperation also includes the exchange of expertise in the fields of agriculture, sanitation, and water resource management, which enhances food security in both countries.
Egypt provides support to Madagascar in the healthcare sector, through programs to combat Hepatitis C, train medical personnel, and develop remote diagnostic services.
Defense officials from both countries also hold regular meetings to discuss ways to enhance military cooperation, coordinate efforts to address regional security challenges, and support security capacity building.
