Egypt-Kenya Cooperation on Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity

The Kenyan Minister of Information, Communications, and Digital Economy, William Kipchumba Ruto, received the Egyptian Ambassador to Kenya, Ambassador Hatem Yousry, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of technology and digital economy.

The meeting discussed prospects for enhancing relations between the two countries in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, e-government services, cybersecurity, and digital skills development, in addition to discussing cooperation opportunities in capacity-building initiatives to enhance the digital capabilities of both countries.

Kenyan-Egyptian cooperation

The Kenyan minister emphasized the importance of cooperation with Egypt in these vital areas, noting that unifying efforts on priority digital files of common interest would support the digital transformation process and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the technology sector and the digital economy.
