Deka Ahmed Robleh, the Director General of the Fund, was received Social Security In Djibouti, Ambassador Abdel Rahman Raafat, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Djibouti, accompanied by Colonel Ahmed Hamed, the Egyptian Defense Attaché, and Counselor Mohamed El-Khatib, Head of the Commercial Office.
The meeting addressed ways to enhance medical and pharmaceutical cooperation between the two countries, and discussed mechanisms to meet Djibouti's needs for medicines and medical supplies, in addition to strengthening cooperation with the Medical Services Department of the Egyptian Armed Forces and health institutions in Egypt.

The two sides also discussed supporting medical tourism by facilitating the dispatch of Djiboutian patients to Egypt in light of agreements concluded with a number of Egyptian hospitals, as well as treating patients of the Djiboutian Armed Forces and their families in Egyptian Armed Forces hospitals.
The meeting also reviewed opportunities for cooperation in the field of pharmaceutical industriesThe possibility of exporting Egyptian medicine to the Djiboutian market due to its quality and competitive pricing, in addition to following up on the arrangements underway to supply the needs of Al-Shifa Hospital, in preparation for its operation during the coming period.
