The visit began with an official reception at Mandvulu Hall, where King Mswati III welcomed the Taiwanese president, who arrived in Eswatini as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
After the welcoming remarks, the Taiwanese President and King Mswati proceeded to the royal platform to follow the flag-raising ceremony, during which the national anthems of both countries were played.

As part of this official visit, the Taiwanese President and King Mswati III inspected the guard of honor of the Eswatini Defence Forces (UEDF). .
These official ceremonies demonstrated the mutual respect between the two parties and their keenness to enhance cooperation between Taiwan and Eswatini in various fields.
This visit is considered an important step in strengthening relations between Taiwan and Eswatini, at a time when Taiwan seeks to expand its international relations and strengthen its presence on the world stage, while Eswatini seeks to attract more economic and technological cooperation with major countries.

The Taiwanese president's visit is expected to include several bilateral meetings with senior officials in Eswatini, where ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of sustainable development, education and technology will be discussed.
During this visit, President Lai Ching-te seeks to strengthen cooperation between the two countries and hopes to provide technical and technological support for development programs in Eswatini, reflecting the strong and growing relationship between Taiwan and Eswatini.
