President Hakainde Hichilema officially assumed a new term as chairman of the United National Development Party (UPND) after successfully submitting his candidacy at the party headquarters in Lusaka.
In a powerful demonstration of unity and confidence on the part of all of us as party members, President Hichilema passed the nomination process by acclamation, thus confirming his leadership and the trust given to him to continue leading the party forward.
