Five bodies found after heavy rains in Burkina Faso

Five people died in the Houndé region of Burkina Faso after heavy rains on the night of June 23, 2026, where the bodies were found.

However, it should be noted that this number of victims is unofficial so far, and is subject to change pending a statement from the competent authorities.

Since yesterday, national fire crews have been deployed in areas affected by the severe weather, conducting search and rescue operations.
