Webinar to open the door for Egyptian exports to African markets

The Export Council for Chemical Industries and Fertilizers, and the Egyptian Commercial Representation, organized Webinar A specialized workshop entitled «Ways to Access the Djiboutian Market: Promising Export Opportunities for Egyptian Companies» was held as part of ongoing efforts to open new markets for Egyptian products and enhance their presence in the African continent.
The webinar was presented by Commercial Minister Plenipotentiary Mohamed El-Khatib, Head of the Egyptian Trade Representation Office in Djibouti, during which he reviewed the most prominent trade opportunities available within the Djiboutian market, in addition to the requirements and procedures for accessing it, the most in-demand sectors, and the products that have promising export opportunities.
Steps to build successful business partnerships with importers and distributors in Djibouti

The meeting addressed mechanisms for building successful trade partnerships with importers and distributors in Djibouti, which would contribute to supporting Egyptian companies’ plans for external expansion and increasing their exports to African markets.
The webinar was held today, Monday, June 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM Cairo time, via the «Zoom» application.
The webinar aimed to introduce Egyptian companies to the latest export opportunities in the Djiboutian market, enable them to understand the requirements for entering it, explore promising sectors, and provide an opportunity to communicate directly with the representative of the Egyptian Commercial Representation in Djibouti to obtain practical insights that help expand into African markets.
This provided an opportunity to learn about one of the promising strategic African markets and to enhance the growth opportunities for Egyptian exports.
