Culture unites Libyans... The International Peace University Forum supports community activism.

The International Peace University witnessed the launch of the second edition of the Cultural Forum and Book Fair, amidst a wide official, academic and cultural presence, in a step that reflects the growing interest in the cultural scene in Libya and the role of educational institutions in supporting knowledge and promoting community communication.
In the presence of representatives from academic, cultural and official bodies
The events were attended by the Minister of State for Women's Affairs. Libyan government Professor Intisar Aboud, at the official invitation of the university, along with the head of the Equestrian, Theater and Arts Authority of the Libyan government, Muhammad Al-Bayoudi, and a number of representatives of academic, cultural and official bodies.
Supporting culture and reading in Libyan society
The organization of the cultural forum and book fair comes within the framework of supporting scientific and cultural activities, and working to consolidate the culture of reading and scientific research among the various segments of society, especially the youth and students, in a way that contributes to building a more aware and open society to knowledge.

During her participation, Minister Intisar Abboud stressed the importance of supporting cultural initiatives and scientific exhibitions, noting that these events play a pivotal role in developing community awareness and promoting the values of education and culture, in addition to encouraging scientific research and intellectual creativity.

She also praised the efforts of the organizers in making this cultural event a success, considering that the continuation of such activities reflects a genuine desire to revitalize the Libyan cultural movement and restore the role of educational and cultural institutions in serving society.
The cultural bazaar reflects the spirit of initiative and creativity.
On the sidelines of the forum, the minister toured the bazaar accompanying the event, where she viewed a number of participating pavilions and projects, which ranged from cultural and community initiatives to crafts.

At the conclusion of the events, the organizers expressed their appreciation for the presence of the Minister of State for Women’s Affairs in the Libyan government, Professor Intisar Aboud, and the participating guests, expressing their hope that the forum would achieve its goals in spreading culture and enhancing knowledge cooperation between various Libyan institutions.
