The Egyptian Embassy in Algeria announced the launch of a long-term visa for Algerian citizens for a period of up to 5 full years.

The Egyptian Embassy in Algeria explained that, in order to strengthen the historical and fraternal ties between the two brotherly peoples and to embody the distinguished bilateral relations that unite the Arab Republic of Egypt and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in all fields, new facilities will be provided regarding the entry procedures for Algerian brothers to their second country, Egypt.

She added that these facilitations include the announcement of a long-term entry visa, designated for Algerian citizens, which is designed to provide greater flexibility in travel, visits and residence.

She noted that the visa is valid for a full 5 years, and is multiple-entry, allowing travel and return several times throughout the validity period.

It allows stays of up to 180 days at a time, with no maximum number of entries.

The Egyptian Embassy in Algeria also indicated that it welcomes brothers from Algeria to travel and visit their second country, Egypt.
