رئيس جامبيا يحضر قمة المجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب إفريقيا

يُعلن مكتب الرئيس للجمهور، أن الرئيس أداما بارو، رئيس جمهورية غامبيا، سيحضر قمة منتصف العام للمجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب أفريقيا (إيكواس) المقرر عقدها في فريتاون، سيراليون، يوم الأحد الموافق 19 يوليو 2026.
وسينضم الرئيس بارو، إلى رؤساء الدول والحكومات الآخرين لمناقشة القضايا الإقليمية الرئيسية وتعزيز الجهود الجماعية نحو التنمية المستدامة داخل المجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب أفريقيا (إيكواس).
وسيغادر الرئيس والوفد المرافق له مطار بانجول الدولي غدًا، السبت الموافق 18 يوليو 2026، الساعة 11:00 صباحًا.
المجموعة الاقتصادية تناقش موازنة 2026–2027
عقدت المجموعة الاقتصادية برئاسة نائب رئيس الجمهورية، البروفيسور جيمس واني إيغا، اجتماعها الدوري في مقر بنك جنوب السودان المركزي بالعاصمة جوبا، لمناقشة مشروع الموازنة العامة للعام المالي 2026–2027، والتي تُعد من أبرز الخطط الاقتصادية للمرحلة المقبلة في البلاد.
During the meeting, the Minister of Finance and Planning, Chol Daniel Ayolo, presented a detailed overview of the draft budget, estimated at approximately 11.335 trillion South Sudanese pounds, under the slogan «Building Resilience and Achieving Sustainable and Prosperous Peace,» with a focus on boosting revenues and directing resources towards productive sectors.
The economic group recommended that the draft budget be referred to the Cabinet for approval, in preparation for its presentation to the Transitional National Legislative Council for discussion and approval. The group's spokesperson, Lily Albino Akol, confirmed that the priorities would focus on supporting the agricultural sector and food security, in addition to developing mining and livestock to drive economic growth.
