رئيسة ناميبيا تزور ميدانيا شركة الصين للطاقة النووية

أجرت الرئيسة الدكتورة نيتومبو ناندي ندايتوا، رئيس دولة ناميبيا، اليوم، زيارة ميدانية لمقر شركة الصين العامة للطاقة النووية،(CGN) في مدينة شينزين بمقاطعة قوانغدونغ، وذلك في إطار زيارتها الرسمية لجمهورية الصين الشعبية.

رافق الرئيسة في الزيارة زوجها وأعضاء من الوفد الناميبي، حيث كان في استقبالهم قيادة الشركة وأعضاء من الوفد الصيني، واطلعوا على عرض تعريفي حول عمليات الشركة ودورها في تعزيز حلول الطاقة النظيفة.

تُعد شركة (CGN) رائدة عالمياً في مجال الطاقة النظيفة وواحدة من أبرز شركات الطاقة النووية في الصين، إذ تلعب دوراً محورياً في تحول البلاد نحو الطاقة منخفضة الكربون من خلال الابتكار والتكنولوجيا وتوليد الكهرباء بطرق آمنة وموثوقة ومستدامة.

وبصفتها واحدة من الدول الرائدة عالمياً في إنتاج اليورانيوم، تتمتع ناميبيا بمكانة متميزة تتيح لها تعميق التعاون مع شركاء مثل شركة (CGN)، مع التركيز على تعزيز القيمة المضافة، ونقل التكنولوجيا، وتنمية المهارات، والاستغلال المستدام للموارد الطبيعية بما يخدم مصلحة الشعب الناميبي.

وتعكس هذه الزيارة الالتزام المشترك بين ناميبيا والصين بتعزيز التعاون الثنائي، واستكشاف فرص جديدة في مجالات الطاقة النظيفة، والتصنيع، والابتكار، والتنمية الاقتصادية المستدامة.

Namibia invites Chinese investors to explore investment opportunities

وفي السياق ذاته، دعت رئيسة ناميبيا، Nituumbo Nandi-NdaytwaChinese companies to expand their investments in the country and participate in its efforts to advance industrialization, enhance the added value of local resources, and achieve sustainable economic growth, emphasizing that the government prioritizes partnership with the private sector in the coming period.

This came during her speech at the Guangzhou-Guangdong Joint Business Forum, where she affirmed that her official visit to China aims to strengthen the historical friendship between the two countries and expand the horizons of economic and investment cooperation.

It indicated that the choice of Guangdong province as the first stop for the visit reflects its position as one of China's most prominent centers in the fields of innovation, technology, manufacturing, and trade.

The President affirmed that commercial partnerships are a cornerstone for job creation, accelerating industrialization, and stimulating economic growth, noting that she is accompanied by a high-level Namibian trade delegation, reflecting her country's readiness to establish long-term strategic partnerships with Chinese investors and companies.

Nandi-Ndaitwah stressed that Namibia is adopting a strategy aimed at transitioning from exporting raw materials to manufacturing them locally, through expanding processing and transformation operations, which contributes to increasing added value and enhancing the contribution of productive sectors to the national economy.

Chinese investors were urged to explore investment opportunities in a number of vital sectors, including mining, agriculture and agro-processing, logistics, infrastructure, energy, health, education, and skills development, as well as technology transfer.
