أجرى موقع DjibLive حوارًا حصريًا مع السفير عبدالرحمن رأفت خطاب، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى جمهورية Djibouti،وذلك في إطار رسالته الإعلامية الهادفة إلى تسليط الضوء على أبرز القضايا الدبلوماسية والتنموية.

وتناول الحوار قوة العلاقات التاريخية والشراكة الاستراتيجية التي تجمع بين مصر وجيبوتي، إضافة إلى آفاق تعزيز التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين في عدد من المجالات الحيوية، من بينها التجارة والاستثمار والتعليم والصحة والثقافة والتنمية.
كما تطرق الحوار إلى الفرص المستقبلية المتاحة لتوسيع مجالات التعاون المشترك، والرؤية الموحدة للبلدين تجاه دعم الاستقرار الإقليمي، وتعزيز النمو الاقتصادي، وتوسيع نطاق التقارب والتواصل بين الشعوب.
وأكد السفير خلال اللقاء على عمق العلاقات المصرية الجيبوتية، وما تشهده من تطور مستمر يعكس الإرادة السياسية المشتركة لتعزيز الشراكة في مختلف القطاعات، بما يخدم مصالح الشعبين ويدعم جهود التنمية في منطقة القرن الإفريقي.
وأشار إلى أن التعاون بين مصر وجيبوتي يمثل نموذجًا مهمًا للشراكات الإفريقية القائمة على الاحترام المتبادل وتبادل المصالح والخبرات، مؤكدًا أهمية مواصلة العمل المشترك لتعزيز الاستثمارات وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون المستقبلي.
وفي ختام الحوار، أعرب موقع DjibLive عن خالص شكره وتقديره للسفير على حسن الاستقبال، وما قدمه من رؤى وتحليلات مهمة خلال اللقاء، مؤكدًا أن هذا الحوار يعكس متانة وعمق العلاقات الودية والتعاونية بين البلدين.
Djibouti looks to benefit from Egypt's experience in local administration
وفي سياق منفصل، استقبل وزير الدولة المكلف باللامركزية في جيبوتي، Omar Hussein OmarThe Egyptian Ambassador to Djibouti, Abdel Rahman Raafat, met to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of local development and capacity building.
The minister reviewed the priorities for the next phase, which include supporting the local development path and strengthening the role of local communities, in addition to developing the irrigation and water resources management sectors, agriculture and horticulture, and livestock breeding, as well as revitalizing the tourism sector, in order to achieve balanced and sustainable development in various regions of the country.
Djibouti intends to improve the efficiency of local institutions in cooperation with Egypt.
He also expressed Djibouti’s desire to benefit from Egyptian expertise in the areas of local administration and regional development, through the exchange of experiences, training programs and capacity building, which would contribute to raising the efficiency of local institutions.
For his part, the Egyptian ambassador affirmed his country’s readiness to support the efforts of the Ministry of Decentralization in Djibouti, especially in the areas of training, transfer of expertise and technical support, noting Egypt’s desire to share its experience in water resource management, modern agriculture and local development.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two countries, and working to develop cooperation in various fields, in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples and supports the path of development and stability in Djibouti.
In addition, the Egyptian ambassador congratulated the Djiboutian minister on assuming his post, stressing Cairo’s keenness to strengthen cooperation relations with Djibouti in various fields, reflecting the depth of the fraternal ties between the two countries.
For his part, the minister expressed his appreciation for this visit, praising the historical relations that unite the two countries, and stressing his country’s interest in expanding the horizons of cooperation with Egypt, especially in sectors related to the work of his ministry.
