Burkina Faso allocates 2.5 billion francs to ensure the continuation of education.
For this purpose, the Government of Burkina Faso, through the Ministry of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training, has allocated 2,505,157,139 CFA francs from the 2026 budget.
This funding will provide the ministry with the necessary equipment for education in emergencies, ensuring the continuity of the educational process and enhancing the resilience of the population affected by the security crisis.

The government allocates 2.5 billion CFA francs to provide tents and educational equipment.
According to the press release issued by the Cabinet, this amount will be used to purchase, install and equip tents in the coastal region, in addition to providing the necessary materials for the two national certificate examination sessions for 2026 for three regional directorates of secondary education, vocational and technical training.
Thus, children, even when far from their homes, will be able to continue their education thanks to this government initiative. This project reinforces the commitment of the Burkina Faso authorities to guarantee the right to education for all, and demonstrates their dedication to supporting populations affected by insecurity.
