The Egyptian ambassador to Guinea held a meeting Mohammed Al-Halawani A meeting with Alpha Bacar Barry, Guinea’s Minister of Education, Technical Education and Vocational Training, to discuss ways to develop bilateral relations in various educational fields.

The meeting witnessed extensive discussions on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of pre-university education, technical education, and vocational training, in order to support development plans and build human capacities in Guinea, and to benefit from the accumulated Egyptian expertise in these sectors.

The two sides discussed mechanisms for utilizing the role of the Al-Azhar mission in Guinea.

Egypt and Guinea are exploring the launch of the first Arabic language teaching center in the country.

The two sides also discussed mechanisms for benefiting from the role of the Egyptian Al-Azhar mission working in Guinea, and explored the possibility of launching the first center for teaching the Arabic language and spreading Islamic culture in the country, which would enhance cultural and educational ties between the two countries.

The meeting also explored opportunities to utilize Egyptian trainers and experts in the technical education and vocational training sector, to support efforts to qualify Guinean personnel and raise their efficiency in line with the needs of the labor market.

Both sides affirmed their commitment to continuing coordination and cooperation in educational and training fields, which will contribute to advancing Egyptian-Guinean relations to broader horizons and strengthening the partnership between the two countries in various development fields.

A few days ago, Ambassador Mohamed El-Halawany, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Guinea, received Makimi Bamba, President of the Guinean Radio and Television Union, upon her return from an official visit to Cairo during which she participated in media events that brought together a number of leaders of media institutions in the African continent.

The visit came at the invitation and organization of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Egypt, within the framework of strengthening media cooperation and exchanging experiences between Egypt and African countries, as the event provided participants with an opportunity to learn about the Egyptian experience in the fields of media, regulation and institutional development.

During the meeting, the President of the Guinean Radio and Television Union expressed her appreciation for the visit, which was her first to Egypt, praising the urban, cultural and tourism development she witnessed, especially during her tours of the New Administrative Capital, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the city of Alexandria.

The meeting addressed ways to enhance media cooperation between Egypt and Guinea in the coming period, and discussed mechanisms to expand partnerships between radio and television institutions in the two countries, in order to contribute to the exchange of experiences, programs and media training, and to strengthen bilateral relations between Cairo and Conakry.
