President Sisi and the Sultan of Oman emphasize the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

Sultan Haitham congratulates President Sisi on Eid al-Adha and affirms the strength of bilateral relations.

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received a phone call today from his brother, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman.

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the Sultan congratulated the President on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, wishing Egypt and its people continued security and stability, and that God would bring this blessed occasion back to the two countries and the Arab and Islamic nations with goodness, prosperity and blessings.

Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawy, the official spokesperson, explained that the President expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for this kind and brotherly congratulation, praying to God to protect the Sultanate of Oman and its people, to bring them more progress and prosperity, and to spread goodness and stability throughout the region.

The call also emphasized the importance of the distinguished bilateral relations between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman, and the need to continue strengthening close cooperation between the two countries in various fields, in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples and enhances Arab solidarity.

A few days ago, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi also made a phone call today to Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, the Prime Minister of the brotherly Republic of Iraq.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the President congratulated the Iraqi Prime Minister on assuming his position, expressing his wishes for brotherly Iraq to enjoy continued security, stability and prosperity under the leadership of the new Iraqi government.

Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawy, the official spokesperson, indicated that the President affirmed Egypt’s aspiration to continue working with the Iraqi side to strengthen the fraternal ties that unite the two countries and advance bilateral relations between them in various fields, in a way that fulfills the aspirations and interests of the two brotherly peoples, especially through the ongoing preparations for the convening of the next session of the Joint Higher Committee between Egypt and Iraq.

For his part, the Iraqi Prime Minister expressed his deep appreciation for the President’s congratulations, stressing Iraq’s keenness to continue developing bilateral relations with Egypt, including in the commercial and investment fields, as well as advancing the existing political coordination between the two countries regarding various regional and international issues of interest.
