The fourth session of the Mali-Morocco Commission was held: Cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding.

The fourth session of the Joint High Commission for Cooperation between the Republic of Mali and the Kingdom of Morocco will be held, within the framework of the continued relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, from 21 to 24 July 2026 in Bamako.
The organizing committee explained that the session includes an experts meeting on July 21 and 22, 2026, in addition to a business forum on July 23, 2026, as well as a ministerial session on July 24, 2026.
Strengthening friendly relations between Mali and Morocco
The Joint High Commission for Cooperation, co-chaired by the two countries’ foreign ministers, is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the bonds of friendship, brotherhood and fruitful cooperation that unite Mali and Morocco, under the leadership of the highest authorities in both countries.
This important bilateral meeting represents the main institutional framework for diplomatic consultations and political dialogue between the two governments. This session provides an opportunity for a comprehensive assessment of the state of bilateral cooperation, a review of progress made since the previous session, and the identification of strategic directions and priority actions to strengthen and diversify the partnership in areas of mutual interest.
Focus on strategic sectors
The work of this session will focus in particular on strategic sectors such as trade, investment, agriculture, infrastructure, mining, energy, health, vocational training, higher education, security, culture, youth and sports.
This fourth session will also witness the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening the legal framework for bilateral cooperation, and opening new horizons for partnership in sectors with high growth and development potential.
The ministerial portion of this session is preceded by the Moroccan Financial Business Forum, which is chaired by the Ministers of Industry and Trade of the two countries.
The forum aims to enhance economic potential and business opportunities through productive investments in manufacturing and marketing, thereby contributing to achieving sustainable development.
Through these strategic meetings, Mali and Morocco reaffirm their shared commitment to dynamic and effective South-South cooperation, based on the principles of mutual respect, trust and common interests.
