Sudan: Rapid Support Forces march targets army vehicle south of Omdurman

Several areas witnessed SudanOn Friday, there was a new escalation in the pace of attacks using drones, amid ongoing military confrontations between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, according to media reports.
Field sources told Sudanese media that a plane march A Rapid Support Forces unit targeted a Sudanese army vehicle in the Al-Salha area, south of Omdurman, in an incident reflecting the continued exchange of military operations in the vicinity of the capital, Khartoum, and its outlying areas.
The Sudanese authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the details of the attack or the extent of the resulting losses, while the security situation in the region continues amidst intermittent military movements.

North Kordofan State Television Headquarters
In a separate development, the headquarters of North Kordofan State Television in the city of El Obeid was severely damaged after being targeted by drones, according to local sources, leading to a partial disruption of work within the media institution.
The sources explained that the bombing damaged buildings inside the headquarters, including the media library, which contains an important television archive, as well as parts of the Peace Studio and a number of administrative offices, causing a partial halt to artistic and editorial work.
This attack comes after a series of similar strikes in the city of Al-Abyad in recent days, in which more than five civilians were killed and others were injured as a result of drone strikes targeting residential neighborhoods.
The strikes continued for two consecutive days.
According to eyewitnesses, the strikes continued for two consecutive days, with an attack on Friday followed by another bombing that targeted the Doha and Daraja neighborhoods on Saturday, resulting in casualties from one family as well as injuries among civilians.
In a statement, the Sudanese Doctors Network said that an initial toll from the attacks inside the city of El Obeid indicates that seven people were killed and 22 others were injured, with the number likely to rise as the counting process continues.
The city of El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan state, has been subjected to intermittent attacks for several months, which in the past have targeted vital civilian facilities, including the British Dispensary Hospital, a power station, and Kordofan University, further exacerbating the suffering of local residents.
