Mali: Armed Forces announce neutralization of more than 50 terrorists in precise airstrikes

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the People of Mali announced that, as part of ongoing offensive reconnaissance operations throughout the country, the Malian Armed Forces Air Force successfully carried out a series of precision airstrikes in several locations on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

The first raid targeted a hideout of armed terrorist groups, where about twenty terrorists and a number of motorcycles were spotted, near the town of Doro, southwest of the city of Gao.

In the same area, a second raid was carried out on a truck loaded with logistical equipment belonging to armed terrorist groups, resulting in its complete destruction.

A third raid targeted a tent and a number of motorcycles nearby, some of them armed, in the same area, completely destroying the hideout and the motorcycles.

Furthermore, a thorough reconnaissance operation in the Sandari area of Kay province uncovered a major terrorist hideout. Airstrikes targeting this hideout neutralized approximately thirty terrorists and destroyed several motorcycles.
