“Spain has recognized the State of Palestine, and from the first moment Spain condemned the Hamas attacks, and subsequently condemned the war being waged by the Israeli authorities in the Gaza Strip,” the Spanish Prime Minister said at a press conference with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

The Palestinian flag was raised by Lamin Yamal
This came in response to a journalist's question to Sanchez about the incident, saying: "During Barcelona's celebrations, we saw Lamine Yamal waving the Palestinian flag. He is a very influential figure with a huge number of followers, and I would like to know your opinion about this gesture.".
Barcelona were officially crowned Spanish league champions after their victory over arch-rivals Real Madrid in the last Clasico match, which took place last Sunday at the “Camp Nou” stadium, by two goals to nil.

Barcelona fans' chants
Barcelona fans gathered throughout the city to celebrate the team in a special atmosphere, as the players rode on an open-top bus, and Lamine Yamal was seen waving a Palestinian flag, in a scene that received widespread interaction on social media over the past two days.
