Kenyan President William Ruto confirmed that international community Calls for greater attention to be paid to Africa as a key player in the future of global economic growth and shared prosperity, stressing that the continent possesses exceptional qualities that qualify it to lead the next phase of global economic expansion.
Ruto, speaking at a G7+ working session on «Reviving Balanced and Shared Growth for All» in Évian-les-Bains, France, said that Africa’s economies are among the fastest growing globally, and the continent has a young population base and enormous natural and mineral resources, giving it a strategic position in shaping the future of the global economy.
Africa is not seeking to export raw materials

The Kenyan president stressed that Africa is not seeking to continue the traditional model based on exporting raw materials to be processed and manufactured outside the continent, but rather looks forward to building new economic partnerships based on achieving added value within the African countries themselves.

The Kenyan president concluded his remarks by emphasizing that Africa’s success represents a real opportunity for the entire world, and that the future of global prosperity will be shaped by what the continent builds in cooperation with its international partners in the coming years.
