The Djibouti Olympic Committee is participating in the Nairobi Forum, organized by Olympic Solidarity and dedicated to preparing for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, held in Nairobi (Kenya) from June 29 to 30, 2026.
This forum brings together African National Olympic Committees, along with representatives from the International Olympic Committee and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games Organising Committee, with the aim of exchanging views on ways to prepare athletes and enhance the capabilities of National Olympic Committees.
Djibouti's participation in the Nairobi Forum in preparation for the Olympics
The Djiboutian delegation includes Faisal Abdulrahman Abdulraqib, Secretary General of the Djiboutian Olympic Committee, and committee member Abdulkader Burhan Kanano.
This forum also represents a unique opportunity to strengthen cooperation with other National Olympic Committees, explore new opportunities in training and funding, and begin preparing Mauritania’s roadmap in preparation for participation in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
